About Rape. 

What is Rape??

According to the dictionary. 

(i) The act of seizing and carrying away by force, violent seizure. 

(ii) Sexual connection with a woman without her consent

(iii) Violation, defloration, defilement and carnal knowledge of a woman forcibly and against her will. 

           In this article, I will like to trace my analysis to the olden days, during the time of our forefathers, there was nothing like rape and even to have concubine was a thing of shame which must be done legally. There was morals and customs even when there was little or less fear of God. 

But come to think of the 21st century. Lot of uncalled practices is happening and none is even ashamed of evil practices.

Rape, frauds, cyber crime, bullying, dupe, impersonation, Armed robbery and false accusations has taken over.

       BbI will jut encode all this vices inside the subject matter ”Rape”.

7 Causes of Moral decline in our society (Nigeria) as case study. 

i. Godlessness

ii. Culture, customs and morals

iii. Child bearing, upbringing and training

iv. Family practice lifestyle and friendship

v. Technology and civilization

vi. Money and indecency

I. GODLESSNESS

In a society where the place of God is removed and threatened, there will be lot of evils in the society. The fear of The lord is to depart from evil. Without the fear of God lot of evil will continually happen. Because we were born in sin, but unless we are regenerated, evil will continually stay in the land. 

II. CULTURE, CUSTOMS AND MORALS

I remembered as a small boy that I was taught that “Culture is the way of life of some people” 

But with the introduction of foreign culture, that we are not born, which has influenced negativity lot of people,  what do you expect. 

No respect for elders, greetings, dressings, uneven hair cuts and hair- do, have the negative impact seen in the society today. 

Morals is lacking, lot of unwanted pregnancy, disobedient to parents and many more. 

Once we decide not to go back to our real way of life, we are just wasting our time. 

III. CHILD BIRTH, UPBRINGING AND TRAINING

Train up a child the way he should go and when he’s Old he will not depart from it. Says the Bible. 

Child training by some parent this day is totally without  grace and so pathetic, No fear of God, no sound morals, no good manners instilled in children and they grow up becoming menace in the society.

Some even give birth to as many without training them. “Charity begins at home”. We need to train our children so they can give us rest and to the society.

IV. FAMILY PRACTICES, LIFESTYLE AND FRIENDSHIP

Those is directed to the parents, our kids are photocopy of what we do in the house, A Godly parent will produce Godly children. 

In a family of war and crises, fighting everyday, such children might be a source of unrest to the society. 

Family of promiscuity, what do you expect from the children.

Some parents are to loose, some too strict. These needs to be checked. And the way of life of our children should be our priority because they are our inheritance.

Check on them in school. Check the friends they keep and make sure you pray for them. Teach them and guide them.

V. TECHNOLOGY AND CIVILIZATION

Civilization has killed our culture and traditions, making good morals to decline in the community.

And it starts from each home. Remember, families makes the community. Faulty families makes a bad community.

Technological advancement should be harness positively not negatively, because the negative impact turns the mind to evil and tear Brain apart. 

• Internet frauds and cybercrime

• Pornography

• Fashion and Lifestyle online that is immoral

• Hookups and Online dating.

Poverty and Unemployment should not be an excuse for doing evil. God will not listen to that. 

VI. MONEY AND INDECENCY

Money is the root of all evil. All evil. People no longer seek good name but money by all means, even desperate ways.

Some ladies sell their bodies for money, selling their souls to the devil.

Hardworking, Diligence is not encouraged again. Some parent even advice their children to yahoo yahoo and prostitution. 

The money a Civil servant earns in a year a Yahoo guy gets a week and spend lavishly. 

Indecency has now become the order of the day, like

 Alcoholism

 Night and nude parties

 Hookups

 Sex workers

 Indecent dressings

 Bad haircuts and Coloring

 Crazy wears

 Tattoos and Piercings

And so many indecent exposure and attitude in the system today.

VII. LAWS AND ORDERS. 

Our government and parents needs to set and ensure strict laws on all exuberant evil deeds.

And security should enforce arrest on cyber crime and bullying, rape and all menace should not go unpunished. 

Not collecting bribes to free them, they should Make it a general enforced law. For parents, guidance and even the children. 

OTHER SOLUTIONS

GOD FIRST

Parents needs time with God and take lives of our future generation serious. 

Personal conviction on the Children and Parents sake. 

Government should help establish law and maintain it without partiality. 

Finally on issue of Aged raping Small children. 

There should be a court for that, 

Those involved should be arrested and taken to mental clinic for check and if okay. Charged according to the law no excuse. 

The parents must be fined or even sentenced too for carelessness. 

May God help us.
